After School Bouldering
Morpeth Bouldering Wall will be open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as follows:
- 4pm-5pm Under 9s
- 5pm-6pm Over 9s
If booked and paid in advance the cost will only be the equivilent of £6per week . Upto 8 places per session. Staff ration 1:8
Climbing
We are also running Climbing Sessions for young people on Wednesday between 6.30-8pm at Netherton Park Sports Hall.
These sessions will enable young climbers to learn basic knots, belayaying technique and skills and techniques for movement with support from a top rope.
If booked and paid in advance this will only cost £10 per week. Only 12 places on this session. Staff ratio 1:6
Weekend Bouldering Clubs
Weekend bouldering Clubs will be restarting from Saturday 7th January as follows:
- 9.30 Under 9's
- 10.30 Over 9's
These sessions should be booked in advance fora half term of 6 sessions (£36) per person. Upto 8 places per session. Staff ration 1:8
If booking on a session by by session basis the cost will be £7 per session.
Please ring or email us to request additional opening hours. A small
group of volunteers are hoping to open the wall at other times in future
Instructors Wanted!
We need new instructors with CWA
or SPA qualifications. If you do not have these qualifications and are
interested in volunteering for us to gain experience please contact us.
Routes/Problems.
Some traverses/problems were reset on Friday
2nd September. We are interested to hear from route setters for a
monthly reset of the wall.

We can cater for up to 16 people. Lots of fun,
games and plenty of climbing. Our Youth Space is also now available for
Party bookings.

Back to School.
Too busy after school - Don't panic! Put your
name down for weekend instruction and we will contact you when we have
an instructor available at weekends. We have a new Instructor for Saturday & Sundays and we arejust waiting for CRB Paperwork to be completed.
'Rock Stars - After School Clubs'
Bit busy at the weekend? We will be restarting
our popular after school clubs In January. To ensure we are able to
provide instructors we require after school sessions to be booked for 6
weeks and we will require a minimum of 4 climbers. Ring to pre book and
we will call you back when we are ready to run the session.
Group Bookings.
Barnabas Safe & Sound are able to provide
great deals for local clubs and organisations, such as scouts, activity
centres, boys brigade's and much more.
Leaders, give us a call to find out what a great session your group could have.
We can also rent out the bouldering wall without staff to organisations with instructors and appropriate insurance.
